Major learnings & takeaways
Reshaping customer experience for the digital age was a recurrent theme in most discussions of the congress’s customer track, indicating that best-practice approaches to providing excellent customer experience which worked out in the past will have to be revisited and transformed in the future. New technologies as AI and big data were emphasized as promising enablers in order to help telco operators address the challenges ahead. Capitalizing on the AI opportunity though was clearly identified not to be a task easily achievable but rather a strategic concept requiring foresight and evolutionary planning for getting implemented successfully.
